Ruby Central's mission is to promote, advance, and shape the future of the Ruby programming language and ecosystem through open source stewardship, inclusive education, and global community engagement. Ruby Central is a nonprofit steward of RubyGems.org and supports the RubyGems and Bundler ecosystem, to sustain the infrastructure that millions of developers rely on worldwide. Through RubyConf, supporting regional events, and diligent pursuit of sponsorships and grants, the organization works to build a strong, welcoming Ruby ecosystem where every developer has the tools, support, and community to grow and contribute.
